Smiley Club

 

The late Jim Bunyan formed the Smiley Club in 1976 to provide a fun social club for boys and girls from 9 to 18 who have learning disabilities. The club is held on Wednesday evenings between 7.00pm – 8.30pm at Pine Cones Family Centre, which is behind Livingstone Lower School in Clapham Road, Bedford.

 

The club has a band of loyal volunteers, mostly teenagers and activities include: Art and crafts, board games, outside play in the warmer months and hanging out with friends!
