Summer Playscheme

 

Bedford Mencap funds and runs a playscheme for 3 weeks in the summer school holidays. This is staffed by paid professional and volunteer helpers and offers a wonderful opportunity for children and young people with learning disabilities to take part in fun activities and trips.

 

The playscheme is subsidised but parents/carers contribute to the costs of the scheme. Where possible, transport is available to the scheme.
